At 5th Nature, we believe jewelry should be made with respect for the people who make it, the materials we work with, and the environment around us.
We are a small, independent jewelry studio. We are proud to create safe working environments and to work with ethical, responsibly sourced materials throughout our process.
Thoughtful Materials
Precious metals are some of the most recycled materials in the world. We use recycled precious metals when available and appropriate, while continuing to work toward increasing the use of recycled material throughout our production.
When we work with gemstones, we source conflict-free stones and work with suppliers who share our commitment to responsible sourcing.
Made by Us
5th Nature is not mass-produced.
Our jewelry is created in our own small-batch studio, where each piece is carefully crafted by hand. From the first stages of design through fabrication and finishing, our work passes through our own hands.
Every piece carries the marks of the people who made it. Our fingerprints are on every design.
We believe that making fewer pieces, thoughtfully and intentionally, creates something fundamentally different from disposable, mass-produced jewelry.
Respect for People & the Environment
We believe ethical production begins with the people behind the work. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful working environment and to working with skilled craftspeople and suppliers who share those values.
We also strive to minimize waste throughout our studio and production process, reuse precious materials whenever possible, and make jewelry designed to be worn, cared for, repaired, and kept for generations.
We don’t believe sustainability is a finished destination. As 5th Nature grows, we will continue to look for better ways to understand our supply chain, reduce waste, improve our materials, and make more responsible choices.
